Born
in Brooklyn New York, Tom Riccobono moved to the Pocono
Mountains, PA. at the age of 3. He started his professional
music career while attending Churchman’s Business College in Easton,
PA. Within 1 a year, Tom working as a full time entertainer.
During this period he did everything from being a ski race announcer
to singing the Star Spangled Banner at The Pocono 500 NASCAR race.
Tom has also hosted several major Pocono music events, festivals and
concerts, all while playing hey rides, kids parties, weddings and
lots and lots of bars.
Of the many different paths and
formats taken through the years, the “one man show” has been the
most successful. Performing 300 shows a year for more then 2
decades.
After 10
years of touring, Tom moved to Hell's Kitchens on the west
side of Manhattan to study voice full time with famed vocal coaches
Don and Marty Lawrence (Bon Jovi, Bono, Christina Aguilera, Mick
Jagger)
During this time he also studied commercial acting as well as
performance with legendary entertainment agent and acting
coach
Maxine Marx
(daughter of Chico Marx) “The
Marx Brothers”. Also at this time,
he studied directly with Second City Improv guru
Martin de Maat
(Chris Farley, Tim Meadows, Tina Fey)
Tom is currently living in NYC and performs mostly a "one man show"
full time in Greenwich Village and the tri state area. As of
June 2002 Tom has been performing stand up comedy regularly
at
Caroline's,
Comedy Cellar,
The
Comic Strip,
Gotham Comedy Club,
Stand Up NY,
New York Comedy
Club
and
Broadway Comedy Club,
The Brokerage,
sharing the stage and billing with some of the
countries best & biggest names in comedy
In
October, 2004, Tom was cast as a regular extra on
Saturday Night Live
& Conan O'Brien
appearing with
Jude Law,
Liam
Neeson,
Lindsay Lohan, & "Triumph" the Dog in various skits & sketches
Current Corporate clients include Rolling
Stone Magazine, US Weekly Magazine, Merrill Lynch, EGR
International, Ernest and Julio Gallo, Huffman La Roach, Milltronics
Manufacturing Co., Locus Ridge Quarry and The
Tropicana (Atlantic City).
There is only one
goal in mind: To keep evolving as a performer and as a show; one
that is out on the road, where riders fly high and broken hearts
heal.
